Visiting a new church can be intimidating if you don’t know what to expect. As soon as you enter the doors of Athens Christian Church, you will be welcomed by a diverse group of believers. We sing, pray and worship together. We have classes for all ages. Come and pray with us.

New to Athens Christian Church

What to wear?

We know that going to a new church can be stressful. One of the first questions people wonder about is how they should dress. We suggest that you dress how you will feel comfortable. Some of our members prefer to "dress up" as a measure of respect to God, others prefer to be comfortable and dress more casually in jeans. Either way is fine as long as your focus is to worship God and love others.

What about our children?

We have Nursery for ages birth through 3 years old.

Children ages 3 and older are invited to sit with their parents for the first half of Worship. We will sing together as part of our church family, and then before Communion the children ages 2-6th grade will be dismissed to go back for Junior Church.
